The challengair 560 monitors the temperature inside the cage and regulates it to prevent hyperthermia (excessive heat) and hypothermia (low body temperature). There is a thermister located in the small well beneath the grate which is part of a control system that measures the temperature in the cage and prevents the cage temperature from exceeding approximately 107 degrees. This control system reduces the risk of the animals discomfort or harm. The timer allows the dryer to run from approximately 5 minutes to 30 minutes, and powers down automatically. A brushless motor with a powerful, no maintenance, split capacitor motor provides years of trouble-free service and requires no brush changes. Built in the USA, and built to last.
